  • Long Board sanding block, where can I get your favorite model?

I need a longboard sander, but never seen one. From what I can see, the longboards are flexible to fit curves. But the blocks I see for sale online look to be rigid.

    I do need flexible?
Where did you get your favorite sander?
    Thanks!

I got one of these a while back. It could be a little stiffer, but definitely blends curves like a champion.

I usually just glue sandpaper onto wood to work as a sanding block. I use about 10mm thick ply about 50cm long for levelling straight. I I would need one to blend some curves, I would use thinner ply, which would bend. I do have an electric sander with a relativly soft foam disc, this actually blends quite well too.

I haven't gotten far enough in my first build to say much on the subject but I could see a use for a sanding bow for certain profiles.
